Engine bug is now tracks bug#167

I noticed track audio is included in engine sounds to an extent, or extended (this is a great thing in my opinion), and I know this bug has been around forever but it has changed now to tracks audio. StuGs are a repeat offender, it used to sound like they were constantly revving engine but now it is just tracks at full speed. Maybe a clue towards the root of the issue/ a fix.

Further observations. It seems more prominent/affecting more units, just now I witnessed it with Sherman 76 which was new to me, additionally, the sounds duplicate. This particular sherman got the tracks full speed audio doubled. Two loops of same sound after starting engine a couple times

It will be all units. Everything with a engine was affected by the engine bug. Stug was more prominent due to them starting and stopping their engines more often than other tanks. What I’ll have to do over the next few days is try to nail down the distance that this triggers. As example the old engine bug triggered around 190m so driving inside of 190m and shutting off then restarting the engine was most likely to cause the full throttle engine on in 3rd person. Never a dull moment.

And yes, just like the engine bug I suspected this would add a new loop everythime the track sound was reinitalized. Good feedback :)

It’s trivial to reproduce just like the engine bug: stop and start repeatedly and in not too much time the engine audio or track audio won’t stop for any players within earshot.

Also the old engine bug seems worse than usual, I’ve seen it pop up twice this morning.
