Town Ownership and Garrison Mis-match#180

From the Forums 4 years ago the below was posted. However the issue remains to be an issue, but not with changing town ownership after a capture. It appears to have to do with using different countries during the cap of the town. So far instance Brtis capture City CP, and the Depot. But the French capture the AB. the town will then display as French on the map but will have a UK garrison. This is has raised some concerns on the Axis Side I have noticed. The fix to this is by going back and changing the Town Ownership to UK if you want the garrison to remain UK or if you want it FR you have to swap to UK and then back to FR to get the FR garrison.

“An issue surfaced tonight that appears (At a really quick look) to be tied to town ownership changes. Essentially what’s occurring is that after capture town ownership is being changed so quickly that not all DB’s end up synched. The end result is that a town will have a flag from one nationality, and supply from another, and not be spawn-able.

To help reduce the likely hood of this occurring please wait a minute (60(ish)) seconds after capture to set town ownership. This should allow for the DB’s to all align before the change is implemented. Also try to avoid changing the ownership 2-3 times within a short period of time (a few minutes) to help reduce the potential for ownership bugs to show up.

There was a separate issue with some garrisons and their supply not coming in properly - specifically the garrison in chimay didn’t get infantry as initial supply, but it did show up as if a resupply ticket (9 hour timers when I looked). After talking to player on side chat, and some HC in game, this seems to be occurring often, but hasn’t been reported.

The cause for this is not known, so we’d like to be made aware of issues when they occur. Either here or in the testing/bug forum. The more details the better around the conditions when the error occurred (and a time would be awesome as well so we can look in the DB’s). “
