LMG from tiger, you can see the tree behind the EI being hit but not the EI.
the optics on the tonks are mounted a little off center so it causes that optical illusion when firing on things up close. The bullets just barely went over the infantry’s shoulder
As Lovewing says, the gunsight is left side of the main gun and the mg is right side of the gun. Best guess 2 foot offset. The closer you are to a target hte more this offset will be evident. So close in like that putting the ei in the missle of the gunsight has the bullets hitting beside him.
Lol the bullets are clearly hitting the tree directly behind the EI.
But ok.
@Sdalebenson when camping a spot you expect ei from especially up close, shoot a couple rounds and note where they land in relation to the crosshair until you get used to the offset
p.s. can also point the hull gun at the target so when your main MG is reloading you can keep spamming with the hull ;]
Tiger hull gun is to the right of the cannon, not centered with the cannon. So rounds are landing right of center and hitting to the right of the infantryman on the tree. Mounted lmgs are also ridiculously accurate so there is little spread, so not even a chance at that range for a round to veer left into the infantryman.
I wasn’t firing the hull gun, I was firing the coaxial gun. It is mounted to the right, maybe 18 inches.
I’m satisfied with the explanation in sofar as I’m letting it drop.
About…40 inchs between the gunnes scope and the mg? But yea that’s the issue. That offset between gunsight and gun messes with perspective
