Beta M18 - reverse speed#423

The reverse speed looks correct at around 20mph not sure if reported speed is on road or offroad, issue is how fast it goes from standing start to 20 in reverse its almost instant. To recreate flat ground into reverse 0-20 in under 1 sec.

What I’m seeing doing a online search is that the hellcat was slightly faster in reverse than in 1st. Testing it shows it is 1 mph faster in reverse than in 1st.

It looks to hit top 2peed in reverse about 1 second quicker than in 1st. I’ll tag Hatch as I don’t have the info as to what the gear ratios should be

dm79 and i tested - we lined up two hellcats one in reverse and one going forward. The reversing HC jumped off the line and it took me 15 seconds or so to catch up to him cycling through gears.

We are looking into this. Finding actual data on acceleration timing is beyond ‘quite the challenge’.

This shows forward 0-16 for 1st gear, 12-34 for 2nd and 30 -60 for 3rd, just trying to find more info, as you say finding acceleration on all the tanks is mega hard, not sure 0-60 was on many tank sales cards :P

The m18 manual also has the max allowable engine speed for both engine types

Not sure if this is viable way to do it when supporting data seems hard to find,
