Hi team,
I have a specific question which I observed about the sound Quality of my system.
Does WWIIOnline reduce the output sound quality when it enter the Persona Selection Screen?
Context: I frequently hear Youtube videos in the background while I am playing WWIIONLINE, however, this time I observed that, after I open the game, go to the Service Agreement screen (something is playing as audio in my youtube), go to Main Screen and, “Join the Battle” button. As soon as the Main Menu opens up, the sound output quality decreases.
It reminds me of audio quality reducing from 44 kHz sampling to 22 kHz sampling, for example.
As soon as I close the game, the sound quality of what I am hearing comes back to the good quality.
Are you aware of this issue? Can you fix this?
Why does this happen?

@Everton Russo Thank you for reporting this issue. We’re requesting video evidence from your desktop –> game that would help support this. Also, are you launching from the WWIIOnline.com downloaded game client, or Steam client?
Please provide more evidence of this issue, including anything that could help us isolate where this is happening moreso.

@Everton Russo our preliminary testing through both Steam and our organic client did not produce this behavior. If you (or anyone following this post) can provide a video going from desktop –> ingame to demonstrate this issue for us, it would be appreciated.
First stage is to validate the issue, and at this time we are unable to based on the feedback alone. We need hard evidence.

Thank you fo rthe follow up on this.
It looks like the problem is not WW2Online, but a limitaiton from Bluetooth.
Context: I forgot to mention the problem happens while using my Microsoft Xbox Headset on Bluetooth connection. To simulate and provide the evidence, while using Youtube, as soon as I open the desktop Recorder application (OBS Studio), the audio quality decreased (phone quality), just like I observed in the WW2Online game.
I did some Googling and it looks like this is what is happening:
I connected the Headset with a USB-C cable, the audio quality increased to normal quality (similar to 44khz) and on Bluetooth it goes back to bad quality. When I exit the game, the quality goes back to normal.
I had this problem for some time, but I decided to open the ticket using the tool. I suspect I only noticed the problem when IVC comms was introduced. As the game did not use Microphone before, maybe that’s why this sound quality issue wasn’t ocurring. It is possible that now with IVC, Bluetooth limitations shows up.
Anyway, just providing a feedback for the whole situation, as for this WW2Online bug request, I think we can close this ticket as the limitation is on Bluetooth connectivity with sound+voice.

@Everton Russo Thanks for all of that supporting text. As per your request we’re going to go ahead and label this is an archived issue. S!
