German 88 not penetrating allied armor correctly.#6

Place: Spincourt. Date: 7/30/2023. Shot 15 AP rounds @ 500m, from my 88, into the rear of the S35 body and turret. S35 continued to be active shooting. S35 was being played by Stankyus. I did get the kill credit.

We did some initial revieiwng on this and found that we were able to successfully destroy an S-35 with a Flak36 (88mm) no problem.

It appears the Flak36 (88mm) has a 2.43 k/d ratio against the French S-35 for this campaign (196) alone, with an overal historical 1.96 k/d ratio.

It is possible that someone else received the critical crew member killed credit before you did resulting into this confusion. But rest assured, the 88mm is still very capable of penetrating Allied armor.
