If I alt-tab between the game and windows on my Windows 11 OS, when I return I often encounter what players have said is the Death Spin. My character begins spinning uncontrollably until I alt-tab out and back in. It happens almost every time if I am switching between my main account and my tow account.

Do you have more than one monitor?
Yes
Can confirm as a dual monitor user. Has been a thing for a while now. ESC key stops the spinning, but it still happens pretty frequently.
The ESC key will be better than CTL-ALT again. That’s some improvement.
