VP doesn't get handed out#682

I’ve read someone on discord complain about that he doesn’t earn any VPs from guarding depots, getting kills inside depots etc. at all. Same thing happened to a squaddie, he did all the deeds but got no rewards. Seems that it is broken for some people. I mean playing for days on end without getting any VP is an indication that it’s broken. sucks for these people, I can only imagine the poor new people who think they are doing something wrong. S!

It would be very helpful to get actual game names of folks experiencing this so we can observe their account configuration.

ipox88 from JG51 had his sub run our and was free to play for atleast a full week, maybe two. He didn’t earn a single VP under that time (while guarding etc.). I can try to dig out the name on discord for the other guy, seems he was a greentag(ish). ipox has since re-subbed. from reading ingame chat, this seems to have happened quite a few times. new players asking why they don’t earn VP and people tell them to do the VP rewarding plays. I suspect at least some are doing the VP rewarding stuff like guarding, recapping, killing inside caps, driving FMS etc. either way, if you play a full week without getting VP, something is broken. Also if you build a MS of any sort and you have soldiers spawn from it, you only earn VP if you are spawned in while others spawn off of your MS. if soldiers spawn off of it and you are in the menu screen, you don’t earn any VP. minor inconvenience in comparison. S!

rockita was the guy on discord a week ago or so. check if he was subbed as of January 5th when he posted that problem.

z17 does not get VP for guarding, does get other VP though

Z17 has tried 9 times now; guarding; zero VP every time

@delems We audited several synchronization issues within the billing database. Is this still an issue or is it now resolved?

just tested again, no VP for guarding it seems

@delems Something doesn’t seem right here. Fyi you must stay inside of the CP for 1 minute, per interval of points distributed. If you leave at any time under that (like 59 seconds for example) it will not work / be issued. Including if you step right back in 1 second later.

I’ve checked a second time, there is no indication of any other subscriptions or reasons why you shouldn’t be receiving VP. Only F2P is active which is correct.

I don’t know what to say, FPA was in CP for 9 min guarding (tested just now), no rank points or VP. Someone last night said that guarding VP were working, but I still don’t see it

Most bugs dont make sense. Delems is reporting he stays in the CP but does not get awarded points. What else can he do besides report it like he is doing?

Maybe you can watch him sit in the cp to verify he is in there for the proper amount of time and have him despawn and see if he gets points?

edit: doesnt look like T server places auto AO, prob requires pop

Does training server still auto AO? If so, you could try logging in there and seeing if both accounts have similar issue (1 acct gets points while other doesnt while guarding) that could potentially be a helpful clue

It’s been 4 months and this is still an issue. ipox88 is a good squadmate, is free to play, is guarding, is capping, is killing inside caps etc. no victory points recieved at all. zip, zero, nada! Bump!
