New Patch extremely slow-map host 57 (not connected), Unplayable !!!#804

Ok. Latest patch. Extremely long load time. Minutes between activating a button and having changes occur. i.e. persona, selection, enter game arena. Once in appears to work but then freezes after only 20 seconds. then get kicked out of game entirely with “map host 57 (not connected) error.
Running an old imac Intel 4.2 Ghz Quad core 2017, 24mb, 8 GB video ram. SSDrive. on a hard line from my provider.
Last patch worked fine. New map patch is unplayable.
