Pros
• New entry looks great, good entry for new players with instant action button
• Quick Mission Button is a good idea, but unclear that you have to press the arrow button to create the mission.
• Respawn last weapon, great addition
Changes?
• I would add words to the symbols on the button (Army, Air, Navy)
• I would make the ATTACK font red
• Red flowers, when you have an CE and you place a bush the red flowers are there. If you place one this is ok, but if you try to hide an MS this makes it more stand out.
• Grocery store window image. Should be higher resolution or less items
• Box MS, I noticed in Ramet around the Huy depot you can’t place an MS. I understand the idea not to place an MS in a bunker, but limiting it otherwise makes the already hard inf game harder.
Couldn’t Test
• If you die as an SMG and you spawn in after dying, is there now a message that the unit is unavailable
@parasit Appreciate your feedback. I have a question. When you say, “I would make the ATTACK font red,” what do you mean? We had matched the color coding of ATTACK and DEFEND to the pre-existing colors we had and even updated some parts in the mission making to re-reference that.
Re: adding text, it is possible and might be something we do in time. A goal here was to keep things light, and there is a mouse hover tool tip and a guided tutorial to assist users. Should become muscle memory once it’s figured out and makes it universally understandable/light.
Re: the “Couldn’t test” portion, yes logic exists to help guide users when that unit is unavailable, effectively it’s greyed out and requires a full despawn to re-select a new weapon.
The other items I’d lean onto @tr6al to touch base on.
Attack is brown for me.
If you try to respawn your unit and it’s not available you now spawn a rifleman. This is annoying as you have to despawn and respawn. Worse if there is spawn delay. Why not have a popup saying unit is not available?
Not sure if I’m the only one wishing the units where listed in alphabethical order.
